Excellent Basking Lamp!
I bought a few of these to replace some typical Philips 100W/PAR 38 basking lamps for various enclosures. Light quality seems "softer", but these lamps definitely throw a very generous dose of infrared across an equally generous area. Each of the animals that have had their lamps switched out with one of these showed marked improvements in their basking behaviors, following. Highly recommend giving it a try!
