This style of bulb is very rugged & resistant to being misted or accidentally splashed. It is perfect for cages with misting systems because they are much less likely to explode or shatter if accidentally hit with water than many other reflector bulbs.

90 w chromalux halogen
Produces light that brings out the colors of the Terrarium and my uromastyx. The seller wasn't kidding when he said it really brings the heat. The heat distribution I would compare to something in between an incandescent and most halogen bulbs. Overall, an awesome bulb
